Conversion of a former gymnasium into a state-of-the-art 7,000 sq. ft. Veterinary Referral Centre. This project represents the second collaboration with Movement Referrals, following the successful completion of the first practice in Preston Brook.

Scope of Works:

• Construction of structural timber stud walls to support the services mezzanine level above.
• Installation of suspended ceilings throughout the building.
• Establishment of a new drainage system integrated within the concrete floor slab.
• Full electrical installation, including LED lighting, network systems, and data points.
• Installation of an L1 Fire Alarm System.
• Comprehensive plastering and insulation work, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Complete interior decoration of the building.
• Fitting of high-gloss cabinetry from Howdens throughout the facility.
• Installation of safety flooring by Polyflor across all areas.
• Formation of a rear services compound for operational and equipment purposes.
• Coordination of specialist subcontractors for the installation of piped gas systems, active scavenging systems, kennel installations, MRI and CT scanner setups, and surgical operating lights.

• Creation of X-ray and CT scanner rooms with lead-lined walls and specialist lead-lined door sets.
• Viewing windows with lead-equivalent glass for radiation protection.
• Bespoke fire doors with ash lipping’s and Egger laminate inserts.
• High-quality stainless steel architectural ironmongery, including access control doors.
• Custom reception counter, Prep Tower, and glass cabinetry designed and manufactured by a local joinery specialist.
• Oxygen pipework and active scavenging systems installed by Burtons.
• Specialist cabinetry solutions by Medstor for medical areas.
• Stainless steel and glass kennels throughout dog and cat wards, supplied by Technik.
• Installation of CT Scanner systems by Siemens and MRI scanner equipment by Canon Medical.
• Complete air conditioning system with heat recovery ventilation, provided by Daikin.
• Two electric vehicle charging stations installed.
