THE KINDERTON

Full refurbishment of a high end established bar restaurant in Middlewich. Hough Construction negotiated this project through local interior design agency Northern Backdrop and the property owners. Both the designer and owner insisted upon using a local company to carry out the refurbishment of the building.

Scope of works

• Complete strip out of existing bar, fittings and finishes
• Removal of some high load structural pillars and replacement with steel columns
• Re-configure the layout of the building to streamline the working efficiency
• Complete re-wire
• Installation of fire alarm system
• Refurbishment of toilets to include new sanitary ware, flooring and washrooms cubicles
• Complete new air conditioning system by Mitsubishi
• External decoration of the building
• New external windows and rainwater goods
